A serious accident that led to the death of Sergei Zakharov, who was delivering fish in the Lada passenger van, occurred on Smolenskaya Square at about 9:40 p.m. Moscow time. At high speed, Efremov’s SUV flew into the oncoming lane and crashed into the van. Zakharov in serious condition was taken to the Sklifosofsky Research Institute, where he died on the morning of June 9.

During the examination, not only alcohol, but also traces of drugs that he had previously used were found in the blood of the culprit of the accident. A criminal case was instituted against the actor, initially he was on his own recognizance, but the investigation petitioned to tighten the preventive measure for Efremov. As a result, the actor was put under house arrest.

As law enforcement agencies told reporters, since the beginning of 2020, Mikhail Efremov has already been prosecuted 10 times for violating traffic rules. At the same time, as the source said, he always paid fines on time. According to the crash video recording that got immediately spread on social networks, it can be judged that he also hoped to repay this incident at the expense of his capital.

No one should be surprised if in the end he succeeds with the help of money — if the punishment is not avoided, then it will be greatly mitigated. We are already familiar with situations where influence and money saved influential people from liability for criminal offenses. Ordinary citizens will have to be fully responsible for the fact that the state has to spend any kind of resources on them.

The strictness of laws in the capitalist world is leveled by the thickness of a purse, so you should not count on equal justice for a simple worker and an oligarch.
